About The Whitehall Umbrella Group
A group of residents associations in the Whitehall area of Dublin 9, have come together to campaign for better facilities for all residents in the Whitehall Area. Our main focus in February 2008 is the proposed Framework Development Plan and what it will deliver for the area. We also want to focus on what is available already in the area, and campaign to maintain and improve what exists already.

We kicked off with representatives from seven neighborhoods on Wednesday 13th February, 2008. Our plan is to meet every Wednesday at 7.30pm, in the meeting facilities behind the Holy Child Church on Thatch Road.
This blog will be used to communicate updates with all residents. We will eventually open it up and allow people to add comments. The proposed framework plan is now on exhibit for public consultation for the next eight weeks. It does not include models of the plan yet, but we believe these will be provided soon.
